2024 EMS Recap & Case Study

At the Experiential Marketing Summit, it's all about what you bring to the trade show floor.

Hosted by Event Marketer, the conference is a three-day extravaganza for event and trade show marketers.

For our team, it's an important chance to connect with our existing partners, meet new friends, show off our products, and catch up on hot-button issues in the experiential world.

We've been attending EMS since 2007 and the goal is always to outdo ourselves by showcasing our new capabilities, highlighting our flagship products, and presenting our client's best work.

And, believe it or not, we fit it all into a 10x20 space!

We started our design journey by identifying the products that we wanted to highlight.

In 2022 we highlighted the MONARCHGABLE and our media walls. In 2023, we brought back the classic MONARCHTENT and featured truss, rigid signage, and the MONARCHFLAG.

STAND OUT

For 2024, we made our booth all about truss. We've seen some amazing projects and designs come through using custom truss structures this year. It's been popping up at both indoor and outdoor events and our clients are universally impressed with how clean it looks and how easy it is to set up.

Our 10x10 truss structure gave us tons of room for messaging, both inside and outside of the structure. Inside, we featured products like a 3D SEG tower, SEG wall, rigid signage, flat cubes, and a custom-printed mightyTABLE.

For the other half of our 10x20 space we used a MONARCHSTOREFRONT. There have been some really fun MONARCHSTOREFRONT activations this year (see here and here) but we haven't seen anyone use it quite like this.

We turned our STOREFRONT sideways, creating a fun tapered billboard effect, and attached a backwall collage of our favorite projects and designs.

Then we tucked our middle tent and truss legs into a 3D SEG rectangle, creating some additional space for messaging, and turned on our tent lighting kit.

It's accessories like the lighting kit that make all the difference on a crowded trade show floor, especially when you have amazing outfits like these to spotlight.
